lloydd I have two releases from this band Unwanted & Worthless, Goes Nowhere Does Nothing. The first couple of times i listened to this release it did nothing for me.But some of my favorite release take time to work there magic. Man am i glad i gave this record time to hook me in. Favorite track: Hand Me Down.
The OG Metal Prophet
The OG Metal Prophet thumbnail
The OG Metal Prophet It is not very often a band’s lyrics and music strike a chord in you that is this close to home. Excellent writing all the way through with just the right amount of heaviness. Favorite track: Expect Nothing, Receive Nothing.
fenderchamp

fenderchamp This is one thematically and lyrically damning bleak record stemming from the black well that Geezer tapped.

Beefy riffs, fat grooves, cool vocals all over this as well. Pete-r just fucks some shit up on this record

Excellent, edjumacational Dooooooomy, serious and seriously tight, this is a must have record. Don't let the silly name of the band put you off. Favorite track: Expect Nothing, Receive Nothing.

Hand Me Down 08:08
All this Power Under their thumb Work is flowing Stealing your love Tired and hungry A soulless pit What they're giving Ain't filling it Generations Are passing down The fruits of their labor From a lazy crown Perditious classes devine notes Divide and conquer The shadow grows Entrenching mindsets, a fai a'compli Dynasties bestowed to those bended knees Illusionary lines are seen Covering their tracks of supremacy
2.
They've drawn their lines / in our beautiful sands Breaking and counting / their bloody hands It's all too much / for your little head You look at them / marching away The shells they're filling / no works can say It's all too much / for you little head Looking out upon the land Never thought it be this bad All the pain you brought across How can it be you never lost With all your lying found in books With only death, no second looks Heaven knows that you don't care A false Messiah with grey hair It's all too much / for you're little head
3.
Hell is all that you can see The mob will kill democracy It's just a little game they like to play Giving you rights just to strip them away Sure they got rid of slavery Gave you a cage so fine you'll never be free Falling ashes in a dream What is left for there to be Square peg in a round hole Left alone, no hope, no soul It's just a little game they like to play Giving you rights just to strip them away Sure they got rid of slavery Gave you a cage so fine you'll never be free In their darkest hours they lie awake Thinking of ways to try and steal and take A selfish phantom that stalks the land Making martyrs from their precious lambs
4.
Like a porcelain doll That loved to be thrown around Well I shattered When I hit the ground There might come a day When I might meet a friend Whole will take my broken pieces and put me back together again Father - Why'd you build those towers so tall Father - Why'd they blindly follow along Father - Don't you know you could be wrong Father - Your evil ways can't win them all Father - A miserable kiss upon you head Father - How I wish that you were dead Father - Family meant nothing to you Father - I was a pawn, only a tool
5.
Move 03:16
I'm hungry Looking through at all of your food I'm starving Everything you have looks so good Your candies and cakes and your liquors to taste, how did it get to be so I'm freezing There's holes in all of my clothes I'm shivering Standing out here all alone Your blankets and fire, is all I desire, how did it get to be so I'm crying As the snow piles up on my soul I'm dying And there's not much left to be told Just dig me a hole, and throw me down in, how did it get to be so
6.
Before their classes A teacher would scold To keep you in line and do what you're told Mountain of sadness To climb and hold But to looks down you'll never see your soul Movers and shakers Lying in wait The battle will come and they'll all be too late A wiseman once said Together we're strong But divided we can't carry on Look to your neighbor Look to your home Out of the world is where we belong We can build our houses On sturdier ground So those in power can come around Free from their prisons Where they try to control All of our thoughts and all of our hopes Free from their cancer That they try to grow Just to kill us nice and slow Free from the towers A freedom to hold A grip so tight we'll never let go Building a life, that's better than now (Out of the world)
7.
All eyes on the battlefield Looking out for those long, long days Keeping out those who took our place Trying to retrace all our ways Wait for me Just want peace Screaming please Just help me Here now and there before Peace is our only way You're done trying to take We're just you last mistake
8.
Your hands are red The raw flesh it peels Heavenly scent Devine rewards Fatherly time No Escape Love for your kids Destroyed them all Gave us the tools Took us for fools Taught us the trade Then tried to hide Spoke with a whim And cast us in sin A bloody aligned Your only downfall Counting the steps On your way up Watching you head Locking you in Catching your crown When our blade comes down When a King Dies A new flag flies

about

What should a person do when the things that make their life so good comes at the expense of others? Should the next generation examine their position within a system and defy the expectation of their elders if they feel they are cogs in an unjust machine? What happens to a revolution when those who benefit from those in power join the masses in their dissent?
